Jodi had always been a lonely girl. I was created on a muggy summer August afternoon when she was bird watching, barefoot and wild and she wanted a companion. (There wasn’t much to do in the middle of nowhere). There were a few trial-and-error moments imagining my appearance, but once I was completed, I was forever made…or so I thought. I noticed recently that my once vibrant colors are fading—the cobalt blues turning to baby blues, the purples turning to lavender. As Jodi grows taller, I seem to be shrinking; soon I may be the size of a thimble. I’m not sure where I’m going, but I am not afraid.
